The DIGITAL Romance MOD by ThatsSoJordy is an absolute must. It gives your sims the opportunity to break up with out that awkward face to face "I'm sorry it's me not you" conversation. However, if the dumped sim wants answers later on you COULD provide them with the closure they need or simply put...leave them hanging.
